Can I add Keywords to my website?

Yes, you can add keywords to your pages. Add keywords on the Articles level.

1. Choose Articles on the left. Find the page you want to add keywords to and choose the "main column" article for that page.

2. On your element list page, choose the record at the top to edit your article information
(circled below).

3. Add your Keywords.

General notes on keywords:
  • Keep your keywords to around 10 phrases: The more keywords you list, the more you water down your keywords and make them less important. It's good practice to keep your keywords phrases to 10 per page.
  • What words should I use?: Only use keywords that are found on your page content. If their not in your content, don't use them. You can always add your keywords back into your page.
  • Keywords are not as important as they used to be: Google no longer uses keywords as a tool to archive websites, more info. But, other search engines still do and it can be good practice to include them on your website, but it should not be the final search engine solution.
